Step 1 – Startup your system in Safe Mode
- To perform this process you will have to Startup your system (If on, just re-start the PC), as soon as you see the PC starting up press the F8 Key more than one time until you reach the advance startup options.
- Advance start up options
o Repair your PC
o Safe mode
o Safe mode with Network
o Sade Mode with Command Prompt
o Enable Boot Logging
o Enable low-resolution video (640 x 480)
o Start Windows Normally
- Please select the options (Safe Mode with Network)
- To select this option, you will have to use the arrows in the keyboard (Up & Down), after you have select the option press Enter
Step 2 – Use Microsoft Safety Scanner
- This is a tool design to verify and clean up the PC of SPAM and other malicious software.
- Please click the follow Link to download the Tool
- Download the tool in a location that will be easy to find (the Desktop)
- After the download is completed, run the tool (Double click the icon)
- Accept the terms of the tool
- Select the Complete Analysis, and click in Next
- Wait until the scan is completed
Note – Keep in mind that this tool will be updated after 10 days. You cannot use the same download version twice. If you wish to re-run the tool in the future you will have to download it again.
